Rebecca is a graduate of Waterford Institute of Technology. Rebecca’s academic qualifications are unique in that she holds a BSc in Agricultural Science and completed her BSc Honours in Food Science and Innovation. Rebecca is a native of Cappoquin in Co. Waterford. Her studies cover all aspects of food “from farm to fork”.
Rebecca manages our client base across the South East of Ireland assisting them with compliance. Her key areas of expertise are designing, implementing and assessing food safety management / HACCP systems and delivering food safety training.
She is licensed with The Environmental Health Association of Ireland (EHAI) and The Food Safety Professionals Association (FSPA) to deliver training from basic Level 1 Food Safety & Hygiene up to QQI Level 6 Food Safety Management Courses. She is also a qualified Manual Handling Training Instructor.
In 2017, Rebecca was nominated for “Student of the Year” with The National Hygiene Partnership (NHP). Having received a distinction in The Management of Food Hygiene programme, she was placed within the top 4 students throughout the country.
Rebecca has vast experience preparing our clients for Third-Party External Audits. These include the Bord Bia Meat Processor Quality Assurance Scheme (MPQAS), Bord Bia Sustainable Horticulture Assurance Scheme (SHAS), Excellence Ireland Quality Association (EIQA), Aramark Food Services, Sea Fisheries Protection Authority (SFPA). Rebecca also has experience as an internal quality team leader within a busy food production facility.
