Francois graduated from MTU with a Culinary Arts Honours degree in 2022 covering Food Product Development, Sustainable Food Futures & Food Photography. Francois has completed QQI Level 5 Implementing Food Safety Management Systems, QQI Level 6 Auditing Course, and NEBOSH International Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
‘’I have been a chef for over 20 years, having worked in Cape Town, Namibia, London, and Cork. Between 2008-2010 I owned a restaurant in West Cork. Worked in Les Gourmandises in Cork City for 7 years and then Executive Chef in Crawford & Co, redesigning their food operations during the Covid-19 pandemic.
